Pentecostes The "DEVELOPMENT OF MOBILE BASED VIRTUAL ASSISTANT APPLICATION FOR PEDIATRICS" study was presented to the College of Engineering and Computer Studies (COECS). The main objective of this study is to develop a user-friendly and interactive pediatric virtual assistant mobile application for Laxamana Pediatric Clinic that provides solutions and answering parents' medical health inquiries about children using Tagalog and English as the medium of communication. The researchers used a variety of technology such as Dialogflow, XAMPP, lonic, Visual, and Android Studio. To utilize research methods like interviews, distributed questionnaires, library, and internet research to gather information and data that are necessary for accomplishing the study. The study involved 80 parents, 2 clinic staff members, and 3 IT experts. The overall mean ratings given by the respondents were 3.69 for parents, 3.69 for clinic staff, and 3.77 for IT experts. Statistical measures were applied to analyze the data and provide meaningful interpretations. Additionally, the researchers employed the Agile model for the development of the study. Based on the results of the application's evaluation, the respondents strongly agreed that the Virtual Assistant Application for Pediatrics was effective in terms of functionality, reliabilty, and usability. Thus, the application was helpful for the parents/guardians and pediatricians.
