August, 2022. "COMPARATIVE STUDY ON THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT COLORED GROW LIGHTS ON MUSTARD GREENS Brassica uncea " Adviser: Dr. Rosani Manalastas Brassica juncea is a mustard plant that is also known as brown mustard, Chinese mustard, Indian mustard, leaf mustard, Oriental mustard, and vegetable mustard. Growing crops outside has many restrictions, notable of which is the weather. In an enclosed environment, cultivation lights are luminous replacements that are used. Grow light is used to replicate or supplement the inadequate supply of sunlight. In this study, the colored grow lights were used to evaluate its efficacy to the mustard greens. The general objective of the study was to compare on the effects of different colored grow lights on mustard greens and it aimed to fabricate growing set up with different colored lights; determine the temperature and relative humidity; and determine the effect of colored lights in terms of its height, number of leaves and yield. To attain the objectives of the study, the process included the designing of the setup of the different colored grow lights, fabrication of the setup, transplanting of seedlings into a pot, evaluation of the colored grow lights, data gathering and lastly, the statistical analysis. Based on the data gathered, it was revealed that natural light obtained the highest measurement in terms of the height, number of leaves, and yield. Therefore, natural sunlight is more effective in growing crops like mustard greens than colored grow lights,
