A total of 180 heads Cobb 500 chicks that were obtained from the local hatchery were used in the study. The birds were divided into six (6) treatment groups and each treatment had three (3) replications. Two (2) different forms of mangrove apple were used in the study, fermented and granule of mangrove apple. The results of the study showed that the supplementation of mangrove apple granules with 10% was found significant (P<0.05) in the final weight, body weight gain, feed consumption, average daily gain and feed conversion ratio of broilers. On the othe hand, it was revealed that adding fermented mangrove apple juice is not significar (P>0.05) compared when treatments were given pure water. | |
