505 0 _aAgriculture plays a significant role in the Philippine economy. The farmers need to monitor their piggery especially if there are risks that can affect their business. One example is the African Swine Fever. ASF is a highly contagious and deadly viral disease affecting both domestic and feral swine of all ages. Currently, farmers in Magalang, Pampanga are still having a hard time separating infected swine from healthy swine because the symptoms of ASF are the same as the other swine diseases. The researchers aimed to design and develop an "Android-Based SelfAssessment Application in Detecting Possible African Swine Symptoms'. Specifically, this project aimed to develop an application that has a selfassessment checklist to identify the possible symptoms of ASF and provide advice to swine farmers on what to do with the swine based on the result. The researchers used questionnaires and the intemet to gather data about the ASF symptoms. The researchers interviewed the pig farmers in barangay Sta. Lucia Magalang, Pampanga regarding their experiences on the spread of ASF. The researchers used Java as the main programming language in developing the application and Google Firebase as the cloud storage for the contents of the application. The researchers used purposive and convenience sampling in conducting and evaluating the system. Nine (9) pig farmers were identified from Sta. Lucia and La Paz, Magalang, Pampanga. With an average mean of 3.26, the respondents Strongly Agreed that the developed application can help them in identifying symptoms of ASF.
