505 0 _aThe study was initiated with the central aim of mapping out areas that are vuinerable to flooding. The concepts of the study will be extensively used in various disciplines with a different meaning in facing the hazardous area such as flood, wherein many vulnerable persons who need assistance to rescue. The descriptive method of research was utilized to attain the purpose of the study. The study also confined within the Municipality of Mamburao only. A total of fifteen Barangays. it also focus on the geographical focation of the vulnerable persons that includes Senior Citizen, Persons with Disability, and Infants, which represents the participants of the researcher. in order to carry out this research, data acquisition is the primary operation and the step by step procedures carried out to arrive at the desired result. GIS and remote sensing techniques were used in mapping flood vulnerability areas within the Municipality of Mamburao. The population flood risk map shows that the risk of vulnerable persons is varied. It can be seen that most of the population is at moderate risk. Meanwhile, the population at low risk of flooding are those in Barangays San Luis, Balansay, and Poblacions 1, and 3. Lastly, those at high risk are in Poblacion 7 and Barangay Tayamaan. The most likely affected by floods are females. For infants, 1 to 10 months of age are affected. Most female's vulnerable persons are affected by floods. Based on the findings, the study recommends for the Continual Vulnerability Mapping around the municipality. Keywords: Flood, Flood Risk Map, Vulnerable Persons.
