Dizon, MAEd, LPT The objective of the study was to develop teas from fruit bearing trees. The study aimed to evaluate the sensory properties of these teas. Experimental research design was employed in the study. There were three treatments used: T1 - guyabano leaves tea, T2 - mango leaves tea, and T3 - star apple leaves tea. Findings revealed that the development of teas from leaves of fruit bearing trees was acceptable in terms of all the parameters included in the study. However, Tl - guyahbano leaves tea was the most acceptable treatment. The use of different leaves (guyabano, mango, and star apple) for the production of tea is recommended. Also, the study of the shelf life of different leaves (guyabano, mango, and star apple) should be conducted. | |
