It was conducted in San Idelfonso, Cabayung Sarul Malati Magalang, Pampanga and the experiment was laid out in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four replications and five treatments. The following are the treatments: T0No seed coating (Control), T120 g of muriate of potash with clay coating, T240g of muriate of potash with clay coating, T360g of muriate of potash with clay coating and T480g of muriate of potash with clay coating. According to the results, the statistical analysis was highly significant on days of emergence, number of seedling emerged, days to flower, plant height, marketable pod number per plant, total pod number per plant, seed number per plant, weight of pods per plant, weight of seeds per plant, shelling percentage, pod yield per hectare and seed yield per hectare. However, there was no significant difference in non-marketable pod per plant and weight of 100 seeds. The maximum net of mcome and highest return on investment was T220 g of muriate of potash. It is recommended to the farmers to use 40 g grams of muriate of potash with clay soil as seed coating in peanut to improve the yield and to low cost of production. Further. | |
