505	0		_aThe dairy farm practice was conducted at Batangas Dairy and Multipurpose Cooperative (BADACO), Barangay Inosloban Lipa City, Batangas from June 20 to August 3, 2019. During the training, the student experienced trying different practices like ear notching, milking, collecting forage (Napier Grass), dehorning and disbudding, herding, calf rearing and assisting the laborers to achieve the objectives of this study. The student trainee was able to apply the knowledge she learned at school to the actual training. Moreover, the student-trainee observed issues regarding the farm including a number of dry cows which were not given UMMB. The availability of semen and A.L. technician was limited, lack of equipment and supplies like vitamins, iodine, chemicals, etc. for the production of livestock were also noticed. Through farm practice, the student trainee gained knowledge about the dairy farm's strategies that he can apply in the near future if he decides to come up with his own business.
