500			_aThe study was conducted to associate the presence of common gastrointestinal parasites and parasitic burden to some management practices of goat raisers in barangay San Francisco, Magalang, Pampanga. Total of 18 goats regardless of age, sex and breed were randomly selected for the study. The owners were surveyed by the author, prior the collection of samples. Fecal examination was done using standard laboratory methods such as direct microscopic examination, flotation and sedimentation techniques while fecal egg count was determined by a modified McMaster technique. Data collected was statistically analyzed using chi-square test to describe the association between the profile of the animals (age, sex, feed and water source) and presence of gastrointestinal parasites. Results showed no significant association between the animal profile, source of water, type of feeding, deworming scheme, and body condition of the animal with the occurrence of the parasite. The parasitic burden was very high on 7-12 months male goats. Typical stongyle-like egg was the type of species seen during fecal examination.
