500 _aThe study was conducted to evaluate the management practices of Banapeety located at Poblacion, San Isidro, Nueva Ecija. Specifically, it sought to (1) trace the historical background of the firm and management activities in terms of organization, investment, production, marketing and financial aspects, (2) to identify and analyze the problems encountered; (3) to give possible solutions and (4) to offer recommendations to the existing problems. Primary data were gathered through series of personal interviews with the owner and other staff of Banapeety who also contributed the information needed. Secondary data were gathered from the current data available and other reading materials. The firm is a sole proprietorship owned by Ms. Victoria Lim. Financial statements and ratios were done to determine the financial standing of the firm. The result of the analysis showed that the firm is financially stable. Problem identification and analysis were done regarding the organization, production and marketing operations of the firm. The following are the problems encountered by the firm: in the organizational aspect were (1) difficulty in managing the workers and (2) arguments of the workers in the workplace while in the production aspect was lack of proper supervision. Alternative courses of action were formulated for the existing problems and recommendations were made. Based on the evaluation, the following are recommended for implementation that will improve the business operation of Banapeety: (1) hiring of a supervisor who has professional knowledge and skills in supervising people, preferably with experience in fast-food establishments; (2) the owner should give incentives to the most efficient employee to motivate and encpourage the delivery of quality services; and (3) the owner should hire supervisor to supervise the workers and prevent unsatisfactory products from being sold to consumers.
