ABSTRACT TOR JAYMIE DJ.., JULY 2022, GERMINATION AND INITIAL GROWTH OF PRICKLY NARRA (Pterocarpus indicus forma echinatus (Pers) Rojo) SEEDS TREATEDWITHVARIOUS PRE-GERMINATION TREATMENT METHODS. Bachelor of Science in Forestry Major in Forest Resource Management, Pampanga Stae Agricultural University, Magalang, Pampanga. Adviser: CLAUDELYN D. DUMAGAS, RPF The study was conducted at the researcher's residence in Magalang, Pampanga from May 2022 to July 2022. It sought to determine the effects of pre-germination treatments and initial growth on Prickly Narra (Pterocarpus indicus var echinatus). A total of 750 seeds were used. The experiment utilized Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with five (5) treatments; namely, Tl-control, T2-one cycle wet & dry treatment, T3-two cycle wet & dry treatment, T4-tap water soak, and T5-Alternate hot & cold-water soak. The treatments were replicated three times wherein fifty (50) seeds were used in every treatment.
