This study was conducted to evaluate the management practices of Mario and Eva David Rice Trading, located in Barangay San Vicente Magalang, Pampanga. Specifically, the researcher aimed to trace the historical background of the firm and determine the practices involved in the firm in terms of its investment, organization, production, marketing, and finance; as well as to identify and analyse the problems encountered, and to formulate and recommend feasible solutions to the problems identified. Primary data were gathered through a series of personal interviews with the owner and other staff of the firm. Secondary data relative to the industry were gathered from the current data available in the PSAU library and other reading materials such as magazines and the internet. The firm had a sole proprietorship type of business registered under the name Mario and Eva David Rice Trading. It is owned and managed by Mr. Mario and Mrs. Eva David. Identification and problem analysis was done regarding the organizational, production, marketing, and financial aspect of the firm. The following are the problems encountered by the firm (1) lack of workers and (2) unpredictable weather. Based on evaluation, the following are recommended to improve the operation and production of Mario and Eva David Rice Trading: the firm should hire a secretary or receptionist and for the second identified problem, the owner should invest in a drying equipment.
