ABSTRACT MANAGEMENT PRACTICES OF EDC WOODCRAFTS TITLE AUTHOR ADVISER SCHOOL : RAFFY SABANAL SESE JANSEN JOSHUAL. CANLAS PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY DEGREE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS YEAR COMPLETED JUNE 2023 : The study was conducted at EDC Woodcrafts located at Barangay Ninoy Aquino, Angeles City, Pampanga. The study provides essential information regarding organizational, investments, production, marketing, and financial management practices. For aspiring future entrepreneurs especially at "Woodcrafts", this study provides information that may be needed in putting up a similar business. For future researchers, this will serve as a reference material to those who want to undertake similar studies. Primary data were gathered through a series of personal interviews with the owner, manager, and workers of EDC Woodcrafts, who also contributed to gathering the information needed. The data gathered were fromn areas of (1) Organization, which consists of an organizational chart, duties & responsibilities, and human resource management; (2) Investment, which consists of investment activities; (3) Production, which consists of area and location and cultural management or production flow chart; (4) Marketing, which are the 7C's of marketing; and lastly (5) Finance, which consists of income statement and balance sheet. Secondary data were gathered from current data available and reading material in internet and library. The firm is sole proprietorship registered under the name EDC Woodcrafts which is derived from the name of the owner Mr. Edmar Dalusong Cayanan. Identification and problem analysis were done regarding the firm's organization and production. The following were the problems encountered by the firm: (1) in Lack of production and a marketing manager (organization); (2) The owner was not strict with his workers (organization); (3) Workers do not wear the necessary protection gear during production; and (4) lack of raw materials during rainy season. Alternative courses of action were formulated and evaluated to determine possible solutions and recommend them for the given problem. Based on the evaluation, the following were recommended to improve the operation and production of EDC Woodcrafts: For the organization area's identified problems, the firm should have proper training on its workers to be more productive, hire a marketing manager, and lastly, the owner should implement rules and regulations in the fim; while for the production area's first identified problems, the firm should provide protective gear for their workers and build a storage area where they can keep their raw materials.
