Pearson chi-square test revealed that there is a high significant relationship between respondents' frequency of exposure and the effectiveness of the communication strategies employed in the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office Livelihood Program for Solo Parents. Since the communication strategies have been proven effective, the MSWD should continue to incorporate the existing communication strategies for future livelihood programs.
