KNOWLEDGE, AWARENESS AND PRACTICES OF THE RESIDENTS OF DISTRICT 8, PANDACAQUI, MEXICO,PAMPANGA ABOUT WASTE SEGREGATIONSBachelor of Science in Forestry major in Forest Resources Management .Pampanga State Agricultural University ,Magalang ,Pampanga. in District 8, Barangay Pandacaqui, in Mexico, Pampanga. 157 household respondents were interviewed in this survey personally. The results showed that only 63 households were aware of Republic Act 9003 of the Solid Waste Management Act. Most of the respondents were aware of violations and penalties related to waste management! However, improper waste management were still prevalent due to a lack of resources t collect garbage in the barangay regularly. Thus, this study recommends that the barangz invest in more trucks and garbage collectors for regular waste collection and regul cleaning of canals to avoid clogging that can cause flooding and the spread of pests.
