The home-based quail farming was conducted in Brgy. Comillas, La Paz, Tarlac for 34 days, from August 22 to September 24, 2021. The strain of the quails was Japanese Taiwan. Stocks were bought for P26 per head in Talimundoc, Concepcion, Tarlac. The quails were sold at the 35® day with an average weight of 153.6 grams. The author sold them to his neighbors at P160.00 per kilogram dressed weight. Average egg production per day was 21 eggs. Feed Conversion Ratio was 11.04 FCR, Gain in weight was 63.4 grams. Percent Mortality was 4%. The Gross Income was P 3,455.00 and Total Cost of Production was P 8,837.00, while Net Income was - P 5, 382.00. Return on Investment was - 60.9 %.
