ABSTRACT Pangilinan, Faith Shicaina P., Department of Geodetic Engineering, College of Engineering and Computer Studies, Pampanga State Agricultural University, PAO, Magalang, Pampanga, May 2023, "DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL TAX MAPPING IN BARANGAY TALIMUNDOC SAN MIGUEL CONCEPCION, TARLAC" Adviser: Melanie S, Suyu, MSME The study, entitled "Development of Digital Tax Mapping in Barangay Talimundoc San Miguel Concepcion, Tarlac," focused on the declared real properties such as lands and buildings which were validated as to their actual use. It also generated digital taX maps depicting land use and tax payment status from 2019 to April 2023. The generated outputs were provided to the Concepcion municipal assessor's office. The researcher assessed their level of satisfaction with the digital tax maps as aid to the efficiency of the work and the accuracy and transparency of the data, Thís study was conducted to help ease the overwheiming task of identifyíng real properties during assessments, The software used in generating the GIS-based maps or digital tax maps output were Photomyne, Adobe Photoshop, QGIS 3.16, and Georeferencer which added a vector layer for digitization. The researcher concludes that there are still undeclared real properties in barangay Talimundoc San Miguel Concepcion, Tarlac. The people are still using manual-based paper maps. The municipal assessors office may consider the use of the developed digital tax maps in the validation of the declared actual use of real properties as per the actual scenario. Also, the use of thematic maps or GIS-based maps should be sustained to further develop the digital tax mapping that depicts spatial features in a convenient manner.
