OCAMPO, ELYSSA JANE R., BRIONES, JOHN PAULO B., PINEDA, JONATHAN L. August 2022. "Verification Trial on the Growth Performance of Broiler Chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus), Fed Diet Containing Varying Levels of Madre De Agua (Trichanthera gigantea), and Azolla Fern (Azolla Pinnata) Leaf Meal as an Additional Sources of Protein". Pampanga State Agricultural University. Adviser: FRANCISO B. SIMBULAN JR. M.S.A. This study was conducted at San Vicente, Magalang, Pampanga from April 12 to May 16, 2022. One hundred eighty (180) heads of broiler chicken were distributed randomly into eighteen (18) blocks with six (6) treatments following the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The treatments are as follows: Treatment 1: 1.5 gram azolla in 95 gram commercial feed; Treatment 2: 10 gram Madre De Agua in 90 gram commercial feed. The results revealed that there are no significant differences in terms of the initial weight, final weight, gain in weight, daily gain in weight, feed consumption, and feed conversion ratio of the birds.
