The study used developmental research design in developing and validating the module in Economics 9. There were two (2) groups of validators for this study. The first group of respondents assessed the essential and non-essential competencies from the Curriculum Guide in Economics 9. The second group validated the content, design/format, technical/technological, and pedagogical of the module. The study used two standardized assessment tools adapted from Pampanga State Agricultural University. Based on the results, the essential learning competencies validated by 10 Economics teachers were the basis for creating the module in Economics. The module in Economics was developed comprehensively and followed a set of procedures or phases: planning, development, and validation. Also, the module met all the indicators needed on the module validationchecklist evaluated by six experts. The results suggest that the developed Economics module can be used as a learning material for learners.
