The study was conducted at the Department of Forestry and Agroforestry of PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY, Magalang, Pampanga from October 12 to Febuary 11, 2018. The study was conducted to determine the Survival and growth performance of Red bottle brush (Callistemon citrinus (curt.) as affected by different levels of rooting hormone using branch cuttings with four (4) treatments and replicated three (3) times in a Randomized complete block design (RCBD). The treatments were; T1-Control (untreated), T2- 50% Lower than the recommended rate (5ml), T3 Recommended rate (10m1), T4-50% Higher than the recommended rate (15ml). 360 branch cuttings were used in the study. Based on the result revealed that there is Significant effect on plant height on 30 days T2 (8.64cm) had the tallest height was recorded. On the 2nd month also T2 (8.47cm) had tallest height produce, on 90 days the T2 (9.24cm) consistently had the tallest height produce. On the 4% months T1 (10.66cm) had the tallest plants. Number of branches on 30 days T2 (5ml) had the significant difference among the treatments with a mean of 0.59. On 60, 90, and 120 days had the most produce number of leaves with a mean of 0.93, 1.37 and 2.20 in Treatment 1-(CONTROL). Length of branches at 60 days, Tl (2.47cm) showed the most produce of branches. And also 90 days T1 (3.26cm) revealed that the most increased of length of branches. Number of leaves at 90 with a mean of 11.63 (T2) and 120 days Tl (28.67) had the most produce number of leaves. And percent survival of Callistemon citrinus branch cuttings T1 (77.78%) was recorded followed by T2 (75.56). In conclusion, Tl-untreated cuttings (Control) performed better than the hormone treated cuttings. The use of T2 - lower than the recommended rate (5ml) for plant height is recommended in the propagation of Red bottle brush cuttings.
