SIMBULAN, Jr. The farm practice was conducted at EJR Anne Farm located at San Ildefonso "Balitucan", Magalang, Pampanga from April 16 to June 8, 2018. ERJ Anne Farm is owned by Mr. Eric Rivera and established last 2017. The farm has a total land area of 2.5 ha. The farm has 3 buildings and each building which can hold 38,000 birds with tunnel vent ventilation installed per building. Building 1 has a total population of 35,963 birds with 1,026 mortality (2.8%), while Building 2 has a total population of 35,914 birds with 1,171 mortality (3.3%) and Building 3 has a total population of 35,978 birds with 1,014 mortality (2.8%). The student trainee learned basic skills in farm management practices like: proper way of feeding the birds with different feeds at different ages; how to regulate the heat temperature on the brooding house by adjusting infrared heaters height and intensity; proper using tunnel ventilation fan to regulate the temperature of the broiler house to minimize heat stroke; maintenance of automatic water basin was learned by the student trainee; and cleaning and maintenance of automatic feeders was also learned during the duration of the farm practice.
