Marceliones, Julie Ann E. and Yumul, Michelle L. Department of Computer Studies and Automation and College of Engineering and Computer Studies, Pampanga State Agricultural University, Magalang, Pampanga. March 2022. "WEB-BASED BAKING RECIPE". Adviser: Prof. Melanie A. Crisostomo Bread and Pastry in Senior High School may be challenging, especially if you are a student who does not have any experience in baking or had a hard time looking for ingredients and recipes. Thus, this system was designed for Bread and Pastry Senior High School students, with objectives to create an account, leave a comment, compile, share, learn, and find a recipe that fits their ingredients availability which will help them to assist in improving their skills and making their practicum more manageable by simply searching for a recipe that best meets their ingredient availability. The study utilized the waterfall model of the SDLC in the systems development. This model allows the researchers to gain benefits from it. It is simple, easy to understand and implement, and ensures quality and identifies deliverables and milestones. The researchers used Internet research and conducted an online survey to gather data and conceptualize designs. The methodology used was descriptive design, while the developed system used Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), My Structural Query Language (MySQL), and Hypertext Processor (PHP). Based on the tabulated results of the survey, the system's grand mean performance was 3.77, which denotes remarkably good as evaluated by the students; these findings were interpreted as "Strongly Agree." While the overall mean for the evaluation of the system interface and ease of use of the system by IT experts scored 3.41, which can be interpreted as "Agree". Therefore, the developed system has a significant effect and benefits to the target students, in view that the system successfully meets Its primary objectives and purposes in providing a well-structured and user-friendly design.
