ABSTRACT TITLE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES OF ANGELES CITY EMPLOYEES MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE AUTHOR THEA SHANELLE C. MANUSIG ADVISER JULIE L. AGUILAR, M.B.M. SCHOOL PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY DEGREE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS : YEAR COMPLETED JUNE 2023 The purpose of the investigation was to evaluate the management practices of the Angeles City Multipurpose Cooperatives. The specific objectives of the study were to trace the firm's historical background, determine the organization, production/operation, investment, and marketing aspects of the cooperative, analyze the cooperative's financial performance, identify and analyze the problems encountered by the cooperative, propose alternative solutions, and come up with recommendations for the identified problems. Through a series of personal interviews with the general manager, management staff, and her mother, the chairperson of the audit committee of Angeles City Multipurpose Cooperative, primary data were gathered. They also assisted in compiling the files and acquiring the necessary information. To determine the company's financial condition, financial statements and ratios were gathered. The analysis showed that the cooperative is indeed profitable. The issue was identified and examined on the basis of the cooperative's organizational, managerial, and production structures. The following issues were identified throughout the analysis: The Cooperative's expenses for its van rental services are higher than its revenue. Another issue found is that there isn't enough purified drinking water to serve more clients, which means it's necessary to increase the purified drinking water supply. Due to the members' lack of awareness of the value of patronage in a cooperative, some of the cooperative's members don't patronize it enough, which causes operational issues. For the marketing problem, the researcher recommended the cooperative to increase their marketing efforts and be more engaged on social media platforms to offer their van rental services to possible customers. The researcher recommends expanding the main station and adding water tanks to accommodate more customers at its water refilling station. As for the non-patronizing members, the researcher recommends educating them about the benefits of patronage and the importance of supporting the cooperative.
