This study aimed to determine the bacterial load of the four biometric scanners found in Pampanga State Agricultural University. Specifically, it sought to determine the profile of the respondents in terms of the following: a) nature work; b) biometrics preference; c) frequency of the use of biometrics; d) frequency of washing hands; and e) the prevalence of possible skin diseases; 2) the identities of the bacteria present in the Biometric Fingerprint Scanners based on microscopic and biochemical tests; and 3) to determine the Biometric Fingerprint Scanners thast has the highest bacterial load based on Total Plate Count (TPC). The study made use of the descriptive method of research in determining the profile of the respondents and experimental method of research in determining the bacteria present in the fingerprint scanners. It made use of simple statistical tools like frequency counts and percentages. Majority of the respondents were teachers and they prefer to use Biometric Fingerprint Scanner No.2. In addition, they use the Biometric Fingerprint Scanners four (4) times daily. Most of them do not wash their hands before logging in/out. However, they wash their hands after logging in/out. The respondents prefer to use alcohol in washing. Bacillus spp. was identified from the four (4) Biometric Fingerprint Scanners based on microscopic and biochemical tests. Biometric fingerprint scanner 1 has the highest bacterial load based from the total plate count.
