A farm practice on swine production was conducted at ALK | Farm in San Nicolas, Balas, Concepcion, Tarlac from April 17 to June 6, 2018. The major practice was conducted primarily to expose the student to the actual and hands on management practices on swine production. On the job Training aims to train and orient students about the work and their future career. The student-trainee was able to develop his skills through hands-on experience. The student-trainee was able to experienced various management practices such as feeds and feeding, vaccination and medication, breeding, cleaning and sanitation, and other practices that the farm implements. The student-trainee were exposed with different work situation designed to give the student an opportunity to experience and a chance to apply the theories and computation that they have learned from the school. It also helps the student to acquire knowledge by performing in actual work setting.
