The study was conducted to evaluate the management practices of John Hog Trading located at San Pedro 1, Magalang, Pampanga. Specifically, it sought to trace the historical background of the firm and management activities in terms of organization, investment, operation, marketing and financial aspects; identify and analyze the problems encountered; give possible solutions and offer recommendations to the existing problems. Primary data were gathered through a series of face-to-face interviews with the owner of John Hog Trading who also helped in compiling the files and in gathering the information needed. Secondary data that will be gathered from current data available in the Department of Agriculture (DA), and other social media platform such as Facebook, YouTube and from the internet. The firm is a sole proprietorship owned by Mr. John Michael A. Carreon Jr. Financial statement and ratio were done to determine the financial standing of the firm. The result of the analysis showed that the firm is financially stable. Identification and problem analysis were done regarding the organization, operation and marketing operations of the firm. The following are the problems encountered by the firm: in the organization, (1) There is No Proper Hiring; in the marketing, (2) Out of Stock of the Supplier (3) Lack of promotion; Alternative courses of action were formulated for the existing problems and recommendations were conducted. Based on the evaluation, the following are recommended to improve the business operation of John Hog Trading: For the organization, (1) The identified problem was that the company lacked a proper hiring process. The researcher suggests Alternative A, in which the firm should implement a proper recruitment process. For the marketing, (2) To address the identified problem of Out of Stock of the Supplier, the researcher suggests alternatives A, in which the firm Find another Supplier. (3) To address the identified issue of a lack of promotions, the researcher suggests alternative B, in which The firm should use social media were they can communicate with the suppliers and customers like Messenger.
