ABSTRACT TITLE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES OF AUTHOR ADVISER SCHOOL WILISA PALAY AND CORN DEALER JOVIE ANN D. MALLARI GEENA H. PINGOL, Ph.D. PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL : UNIVERSITY DEGREE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN : AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS YEAR COMPLETED : JUNE 2023 The study was conducted to evaluate the management practices of Wilisa Palay and Corn Dealer located at Sta Maria Magalang, Pampanga. Specifically, it sought to trace the historical background of the firm and management activities in terms of organization, investment, operation, marketing, and financial aspects; evaluate and analyze the problems encountered, give alternative solutions and offer or suggests recommendation to the existing problems. Primary data were gathered through a series of personal with the owner and other workers of Wilisa Palay and Corn Dealer who contributed to compiling the files and information needed. Secondary data relative to the industry will be gathered from the current data available on the internet and the reading materials such as books and Pampanga State Agricultural University Library. Financial statements and ratios were done to identify the financial standing of the firm. The result of the analysis showed that the firm is financially stable. Identification and problem analysis were done regarding the organization and operation marketing of the firm. The following are the problems encountered by the firm: in the organization; (1) Insufficient manpower. In the production; (2) Machinery and Truck Breakdowns; (3) Insufficient Cireulating Grain Dryer; (4) Insufficient Drying Facility Area; (5) Unexpected power outage while using circulating grain dryer: (6) Challenging Weather. Alternative courses of action were formulated for the existing problems and recommendations were conducted. Based on the evaluation, the following are recommended to improve the business operation of wilisa Palay and Corn Dealer: for the organization, (1) The researcher suggests that the owner should hire additional workers, (2) It is highly recommended by the researcher that the owner do proper maintenance, (3) The researcher suggests to have additional Circulating Grain Dryer, (4) The researcher suggests to have additional circulating grain dryer, (5) The researcher recommended to purchase a generator, (6) The researcher highly recommended to the owner to have a weather tracking app so the owner can monitor the weather condition.
