"Android Based Collaborative File Sharing Through Hotspot" Adviser: Johnny L. Miranda, DIT The study entitled "Android Based Collaborative File Sharing Through Hotspot" is an application that allows file sharing using mobile hotspot. The objectives of the study are: to develop a system that ensure file security using QR Code; To develop a file sharing system that support different file format; To develop a system that can organize files and folders; To evaluate the developed system based on Functionality, Usability and Security using ISO9126. The researchers used different techniques such as interview, internet search and survey questionnaires to gather all the information needed in the completion of the study. For the design and development of the system, the researchers used different software such as Android Ul components is mostly used to build the app's frontend. Activities, fragments, layouts, and widgets are some of these components. The system also used SQLite, Gradle and Java Programming language. Different diagrams were also used such as Context Diagram, Use Case Diagram, Data Flow Diagram, Block Diagram and System Flowchart. Through testing the approval of capabilities and functions of the system to the users, the researchers collected a good result in the survey conducted and the study gathered a grand mean of 4.0 which implies that the respondents strongly agreed that the developed system has successfully meet the set objectives.
