This study aimed to develop and evaluate a Kapampangan workbook. Language documentation was applied in crafting the workbook. It comprised of three successive steps such as recording, translating and analyzing words. The result was a word list or a small dictionary stored in print or electronic form. A total of 35 grade seven students served as the participants of the study, and seven kapampangan elders served as the informants. Purposive sampling was employed. A diagnostic test was administered among the participants to identify the unfamiliar Kapampangan words, while an interview on the pronunciation of the words was conducted among the informants. In order to transcribe the words, the researcher used the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). The orthography and the Tagalog and English translation of the words were written based on internet-initiated research and consultation with some kapampangan people and dictionaries. A validated evaluation tool was used by Kapampangan experts to evaluate the characteristics of the workbook. To analyze the data, a frequency count was used. Result revealed that the participants' profile had a significant contribution to the development of the Amanu Kapampangan workbook through actual, factual and concrete process. The workbook was evaluated to perfection by Kapampangan experts and met its learning objectives. Thus, the Amanu Kapampangan workbook is generally commendable and can be used as a reference for Kapampangan literatures, and an essential tool for the preservation of the Kapampangan language.
