HERNANDEZ, M.S.A Farm practice indicates how well and how valuable the knowledge, theories and skills taught, developed, and inculcated while taking the course which are to be applied in their actual working environment. The farm practice in dairy cattle production gave an opportunity to the student to experience different management practices such as herding, milking, calf rearing, dehorning, disbudding, spraying, ear notching, harvesting and collecting of Napier grass. Farm practice helped the student trainee to improve and developed his skills through farm activities that gave him the confidence to overcome what he might encounter in the near future.
