ABSTRACT TITLE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES OF AUTHOR ADVISER SCHOOL DANJEN AGRICULTURAL SUPPLY ROSELLE VILLAESTER GOMEZ GEENA H. PINGOL, Ph.D. PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNTVERSITY DEGREE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS YEAR COMPLETED : JUNE 2023 The study was conducted at DANJEN Agricultural Supply located in Mangga-Cacutud, Arayat, Pampanga. It provides information concerning the fim's management practices regarding investments, organization, operation, marketing, and finance. This study ofers infomation that might be needed in putting up a business for aspiring entrepreneurs, especially in the aspect of agricultural supply. This will serve as reference material for researchers who want to undertake similar studies on this topic. Primary data were gathered through a series of personal interviews with the owner and staff of DANJEN Agricultural Supply. The needed data were on the areas of (1) organization, composed of the organizational chart, duties, and responsibilities as well as human resource management; (2) investment, which consisted of investment activities; (3) operation, which consisted of the firm area, location and operation process or the operation flow chart; (4) marketing, which composed of 7 C's of marketing; and (5) finance, consisted income statement and balance sheet. Secondary data were gathered from available literature and other reading materials from the Internet and libraries. The fim is a sole proprietorship type of business registered under the name DANJEN Agricultural Supply whose owner is Jenscel P. Cunanan. Problem identification and analysis were done regarding the organization and marketing of the fim. The folowing are the problems encountered by the fim: (1) in organization: low salary and lack of mandatory benefits; (2) in organization: communication problems among employees; (3) in organization: poor record-keeping; and (4) in marketing: delayed arrival of stocks. Alternative courses of action were formulated for the existing problems of the firm. Based on the evaluation, the following are recommended to improve the business operation of DANJEN Agricultural Supply: for organization, the owners should provide the minimum wage to the employees and other mandatory benefits; for organization, the owners should have a weekly visit and monitoring in the firm; for organization, the owners should provide record-keeping training to the cashiers; for marketing, the owners should find more suppliers.
