ABSTRACT TITLE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES OF RCN AUTHOR ADVISER SCHOOL FARM MAY ANN HELBON GARCIA AL R. MUÑOZ, MBM PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY DEGREE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS YEAR COMPLETED JUNE 2023 The study was conducted to evaluate the management practices of RCN Farm at Balitucan, Magalang, Pampanga. Specifically, it sought to trace the historical background of the farm and management actívities in terms of organization, investment, production, marketing, and financial aspects, to identify and analyze the problems encountered, to give possible solution and to offer recommendations to the existing problems. Primary data were gathered through series of personal interviews with the owner of RCN Farm who provided the information needed in the Special Problem. The business is a sole proprietorship owned by Mr. and Mrs. Nava. Financial statements and ratios were done to determine the financial standing of the firm. The result of the analysis showed that the firm is financially stable. Identification and problem analysis were done regarding the organization, production, and marketing operations of the farm. The following are the problems encountered by the farm: in the organization, (1) Lack of benefits, and (2) There is no proper hiring process. In marketing, (3) Lack of promotion. Alternative courses of action were formulated for the existing problems and recommendations were conducted. Based on the evaluation, the following are recommended to improve the business operation of RCN Farm: (1) the researcher recommends alternative A wherein the farm must provide the mandatory benefits for all the workers which is the SSS, Phil Health and Pag-IBIG; (2)) the researcher recommends alternative B wherein the owner should provide seminars and training to help workers improve their skills and knowledge the standard working hours for the organization issue; (3) for the marketing, the researcher recommends alternative B where in the farm should make advantage of social media sites where they may interact with customers and suppliers and give them direct messages, images, or videos.
