ABSTRACT PRODUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PRACTICES OF MAEDRIN BLOOMS FLOWER SHOP TITLE : MILLEN MAY P. GAMBOA AUTHOR ADVISER SCHOOL : LESLIEV. TORRES, MPS PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY : BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS DEGREE YEAR COMPLETED JUNE 2023 : The study was conducted at Maedrin Blooms Flower Shop that is located at Barangay Poblacion, Arayat Pampanga. The study provides information concerning the management operation in terms of organization, investments, production, marketing, and finance. For aspiring future entrepreneurs especially in "Flower Shop and farming" this study provides information that might be needed in putting up the business. For future researchers, this was served as a reference material to those who want to undertake similar studies. Primary and secondary data were used in this study. The primary data were gathered to the means of personal interview of the owner of Maedrin Blooms Flower Shop. To be specific, the information was gathered in the following areas of (1) Organization, that consists of organizational charts and their duties and responsibilities, the staffing, the working hours, the wages and salaries, and the compensation and benefits; (2) Investment, which consists of initial or starting capital and its utilization; (3) Production, which consists the production, the volume and cost of service inputs and technology; (4) Marketing, which consists of 7c's; and (5) Finance, which consists of income statement and statement of financial position. Secondary data were gathered from the data available on the internet, books, or other reading materials at PSAU Library. The firm is sole proprietorship type of business registered from under the name Maedrin Blooms Flower Shop which is derived from the name of the owner Mr. Jay Tambanillo Magbanua. Identification and problem analysis were done regarding the organization and production of the firm. The following are the problems encountered by the firm (1) in organization, (a) lack of workers like arranger and farmer in farm (2) In production, (a) maximize the use of the land (b) One of the workers. Alternative courses of action are formulated and evaluated to determine a possible solution to recommend for the problem given. Based on evaluation, the following are recommended to improve the production & management practices of Maedrin Blooms Flower Shop; for organization first identified problem, the firm should hire arranger and farmer in the farm and for the second identified problem, the owner must provide to increase salaries and additional benefits to its worker.
