ABSTRACT Gaberios, Mailan S., Roxas, Jerome lan Q., and Salgo, Danica Grace V. Department of Computer Studies and Automation - College of Engineering and Computer Studies, Pampanga State Agricultural University, Magalang. Pampanga. June 2023. "WEB-BASED RECcORD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR THE OFFICE OF CULTURAL AND PERFORMING ARTS". Adviser: Johnny L. Miranda, DIT The Record Management System is critical for the success of an organization. It contributes to the preservation of vital records. It also increased productivity and facilitated faster retrieval, resulting in improved procedures and lower risks. The main goal of this capstone project was to create a web-based record management system for the Office of Cultural and Performing Arts so that students would not have to seek for Facebook pages of groups just to join the one they wanted to join. Aside from that, students would no longer struggle to apply to the organizations of their choice, and they would not have troubles distinguishing them. To acquire relevant information from the organization, the researchers used different kinds of research methods such as interviews, internet research, library research, and survey questionnaires. A physical survey is carried out within the locale of the study. Due to having limited time, the researchers used the agile methodology to complete the system. Diagrans were used to depict the system's flow and the functions it performms. These diagrams are: Use Case Diagram, Context Diagram, Level 0, ERD, and System Flowchart. In addition, the researchers utilized a range of technologies to develop the system, including HTML, PHP, CSS, Javascript, and XAMPP in order to try and explore the system even though it was offline. The formula used is recommended by the statistician to solve and calculate the responses of their respondents in the evaluation. The overall mean of the respondents' evaluation of the developed system is 4.87, which corresponds to "strongly agree" and indicates that the majority of the respondents agreed and were satisfied with the system. Furthermore, the researchers conclude that the system achieves all of the objectives that must be satisfied based on the results of the evaluation.
