Thus farm practice provides hands on experiences in various swine farm activities such as feeding program, semen collection, artificial insemination, castration, cleaning, weighing of pigs that ready to be sold and other actual practices made the student-trainee becomes more knowledgeable with regard to field of specialization. This farm practice was done to fulfill the requirements prior to graduation of an Animal Science major student. Through this activity, the student trainee had the Opportunity to enhance his skills and knowledge on swine production. The actual training of the students from the field promotes proper working habits for the future.
