This study entitled "Development of Community-Based Organic Waste Shredding Machine" was conducted from April to July 2022 at Barangay Turu, Magalang, Pampanga. It aimed to assess the machine's performance in terms of capacity and efficiency. The purpose of this research was to design and test a motor operated organic waste shredder, The shredder machine was evaluated using two treatments, Parallel Position of Blades (P1) and Y Position of Blades (P2) with 3kg of mixed vegetables every replication. The parameters investigated were the machine's shredding capacity and efficiency. The performance evaluation data were analyzed using a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) to determine the differences between the two treatments used in the study. Based on the findings, the machine's highest shredding efficiency was 97% and 261.026kg/hr in shredding capacity. Based on the evaluation questionnaires, all the respondents were in favor to the newly developed organic waste shredder. The cost analysis shows that the price of shredded waste was PhP2.85 per kg.
