The field practice was conducted from September 2017 to September 2018 at Solomon Shachar Nursery at Moshav Shachar, Israel. This training aimed to acquire experiences in different cultural management practices in the production of orchid. Throughout the duration of the internship, the student trainee was exposed to the various situation regarding orchid production and gained knowledge and skills through hands-on experience on different management practices such as planting, harvesting, root pruning and controlling the temperature. Also, this training helped the trainee to execute the knowledge and skills learned to put into action and gave him the opportunity to apply the experience to near life situation as far as staging events are concerned. Furthermore, the student trainee had the chance to attend classes handled by experts in the field of agriculture and visited several remarkable places in Israel.
