ABSTRACT TITLE : BARBIE-LAN APPAREL SHOP AUTHOR ADVISER SCHOOL DEGREE YEAR COMPLETED: JUNE 2023 An Entrepreneurial Training Report : JOHN ERROL Z. CANCIO : ORLANDO G. GUECO, Ph.D. : PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY : BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP The Barbie-Lan Apparel Shop started in September 2021, and it is located at Sinagtala Street, Barangay Caut, La Paz, Tarlac. It operates from Monday to Sunday, 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. With its tagline "It 's more fun in the Ukay-Ukay" the business aims to cater the needs of its market which is accessible thrift shop nearby. The business offers a wide range of clothing products and bedding products: shirts, jackets, denim clothes, dresses, bed sheets, and blankets. The products' price range depended on the production cost per unit. The initial capital of Barbie-Lan Apparel Shop was P4,000. The common problems encountered on running this business is (1 )The issue she ran with in her three months as a seller was the pick-up and delivery time (2) The most difficult aspect may be determining what the consumer's want, what the current trend is for them, because they may suggest what you could sell. (3) The difficult thing that happened to the entrepreneur is that she has bulk orders or trending products which are good to sell. However, suppliers are out of stock, so what happens is that she will either change and sell it, or wait for the supplier to have it. (4) Customers sometimes demand lower prices, resulting in lower profit margins, price setting errors, and some inventory that is not properly recorded. To overcome these problems, the owner developed the following solutions based on long-term business operation: (1) The owner paid attention to areas with a high volume of votes and ideas. (2) Asking for customers' feedback and product suggestions through Facebook poll. (3) Maximizing the use of Facebook as the marketing and advertising medium of product launch aside from using it only for live selling activities and other forms of business transaction and communication.
