The trainee was able to experience different types of management practices on swine production. She applied the knowledge that she gained from school to the actual field of swine raising. The trainee's knowledge and capability development in the academe regarding swine raising was further enhanced through actual experience in the farm. The following are some activities the trainee did at the farm: feeding and taking care of sows, ear notching, tail docking, castration, semen collection, artificial insemination, giving medications and vitamin supplementation for the animals.
