The purpose of the study is to determine the positive effect of the Progressive Aerobics Cardiovascular Endurance Run (PACER), a form of battery test that measures the cardiovascular capability of an individual. Through a quasi-experiment, PACER, which is used as one of the requirements to be a qualified officiating official, police and other professionals that require considerable physical fitness, will be used as a possible solution in normalizing the body mass index (BMI) of the obese students. The study employed a masximum variation sampling technique in selecting the twenty out of forty five obese, who are both allowed by their parent and screened by the school nurse-teacher. a weight in has been done before and after the experiment. In was done in the fifteen consecutive weekdays. Results show that both male and female participants showed a significant difference in their BMI after the activity. The study recommends Progressive Aerobics Cardiovascular Endurance Run (PACER) whic h is used as an exercise in normalizing the BMI of students and possibly a solution in dealing with the obesity problem currently experience by the country.
