The objective of the study was to determine the performance of Muscovy ducks fed substituted concentrate feeds with different leveis of fresh and silage golden apple snails. Specifically, it aimed to determine the following: final weight, gain in weight, average daily gain (ADG), average feed consumption, and feed conversion ratio (FCR); and to evaluate the economic viability of using fresh and silage golden apple snails in duck production through cost and return analysis. The study was conducted for 90 days from May | to July 1, 2022, at Pulung Cacutud, Angeles City, Pampanga. A total of one hundred eighty (180) heads of Muscovy duck were used in this study which was arranged with a two-factor factorial experiment) in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The age of birds will serve as the blocking factor of the study. Each treatment will be replicated three times with ten birds per replication. Factor A was the forms of golden apple snail, which were Aiconcentrates + fresh golden apple snail and A2concentrates + golden apple snail silage. While Factor B was the levels of substitution which were: Control, B2-15%, and B3-30% respectively. Based on the results gathered, the group of A2B3 recorded the highest final weight., the average gain in weight, average daily gain (ADG), average feed consumption, and the best feed conversion ratio (FCR) among all the treatments. The group in A2B3 had the highest average final weight of 1967.367grams, a gain in weight of 1538.967grams, an average daily gain of 25.65000 grams, average feed consumption of 170.3333grams, and the lowest FCR with an average of 6.630000 to achieve 2kg of body weight. Statistical analysis of data revealed that there was a significant difference among all the treatments in all parameters used. The results of the data's statistical analysis showed that all the treatments' effects on the various metrics differed significantly. It concluded that the supplementation of golden apple snail silage has a significant effect to improve the growth performance of Muscovy duck. Pertaining to the main objective of the study to lessen the feed cost. The researcher proved that the use of 30% of fresh golden apple snail can be used to lessen the feed cost starting from age of 21 days old up to 100 days old.
