Hiwever, the poor performance of students, especially in Science, is always associated wath a lack of resources like modules. Hence, this study aimed to develop and validate a seifeamning module in Grade 8 Science. The purposive sampling technique was used in tee sdentification of validators. Using Lawshe's content validity formula, the evaluation af Grade 8 Science topics to be included in the SLM was done by 10 Science teachers. Out of 48 learning competencies, 23 learning competencies topics were identified as essential by the experts. Five validators served as the second set of respondents to wahdate the SLM. The evaluation rating sheets for distance education (DE) and open éhstance e-learning (ODeL) were used. The experts evaluated the SLM in terms of costent, design/format, and pedagogical factor. The developed SLM went through revisions until all the criteria were satisfied. The results revealed that the SLM in Grade 8 Seence is valid and acceptable. The experts provided a positive overview of the module. Therefore, the SLM in Grade 8 Science is generally commendable and can be used as learning material and reference in teaching the subject.
