ABSTRACT Ramos, Jeslyn B., Department of Geodetic Engineering, College of Engineering and Computer Studies, Pampanga State Agricultural University, PAC, Magalang. Pampanga. June 2023, "UNDERSTANDING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN POPULATION DENSITY, POPULATION PRESSURE AND CARRYING CAPACITY OF AGRICULTURAL LANDS IN MABALACAT CITY, PAMPANGA" Adviser: Patrice Ann N. Casiņo Mabalacat City has been a component city since 2012 and there is an undeniably rapid population growth in the city because of the birth rates and migration of people from other places because of the opportunities opening in the city. The population growth leads to the population pressure and a threat in the land carrying capacity The study aims to population density, population pressure, and land carrying capacity of agricultural land for rice crops, understand these values and their relationship and to propose agricultural land use policy criteria that includes programs for support, protection and productivity. The researcher found out that Atlu Bola, Bical, Dapdap, Duquit, Mawaque, Santa Maria and Sapang Biabas, consistently have a population pressure and low land carrying capacity and overall (Table1 0), Mabalacat City has population that exceeds the land carrying capacity of agricultural land for rice crops. Through the You sent multi linear regression model it was found that as both population density and population pressure values increase, land carrying capacity values decreases.
