ABSTRACT Abel S. Cacao. July 2022. «Suitability Trials of Radish Using Different Nutrient Solution Under Hydroponic System". Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Crop Science. Pampanga State Agricultural University, PAC Magalang, Pampanga. Adviser: ANGELITO T. VILLAROSA Radish (Raphanus sativus L.), or locally known as Labanos, is a fast-growing root vegetable. It Radish is one of the most popular root crops in the Philippines because of its appetizing flavor and pungent taste. One of the problems facing the Philippines in agriculture is conversion ofconverting agricultural land into substantial land conversion, which led to a drastic decrease in crop production areas and changed the farm landscape. The Research Study was conducted at San Agustin, Magalang, Pampanga inon March 2022 to June 2022 to. To determine the Suitability of radish in a hydroponic system using differentof trial of Radish using Different Nutrient Solutions in growing radish under the Hydroponic Systemn. The study was focused on the suitability trial of radish on a selected radish variety (White Icicle) and the suitability of using different nutrient solutions of Master Blend Tomato Formula (4 Nitrogen -18 Phosphorus -38 Potassium) and Green Merchant (4 Nitrogen -15 Phosphorus -35 Potassium). Two Independent Sample T-test werewas used in Analyzing the gathered data. . The result reveals that the data on the root parameter is not reliable due to the absence of equal distribution. It also reveals that there were three parameters showing Significant differences with a P value of less than 0.05. These are plant heights withof 0.0264, Root length with of 0.0000, and tuber withof 0.0038. Statistical analysis reveals that the two (2) Nutrient solutions used have a significant effect on the aforementioned parameters. Based on the results of the study, radish is suitable and can survive in hydroponic systems. Furthermore, there is a significant difference between the different nutrient solutions used, with Green Merchant (4 Nitrogen - 15 Phosphorus - 35 Potassium) having a statistical advantage in terms of plant height, root length, and tuber width. It can be concluded that nutrient solutions have significantly influenced the growth and yield of the parameters.
