ABSTRACT CARMINAD. LIMPIN, Department of Geodetic Engineering. College of Engineering and Computer Studies, Pampanga State Agricultural University. June 2023, "SPATIAL ANALYSIS ON GEODETIC CONTROL POINTS: AN IDENTIFICATION OF THE DISTURBANCE FACTORS OF GCPS IN MAGALANG, PAMPANGA." Geodetic Control Points are crucial in the field of land surveying. It is considered as the foundation of land information and referred to as reference points because they are permanently established in the ground with an accurate coordinate position. The preservation of its permanency is an important factor in all land-related processes. The study focuses on the Spatial Analysis of Geodetic Control Points: An identification of the disturbance factors of GCPS in Magalang. Pampanga that aimed to provide an analysis on geodetic control points that are subjected to flood, landslide and human-induced hazard. The study's conclusions demonstrated that some GCPS are vulnerable to probable disturbances; numerous potential disturbance factors are included in the MLSP, and its regulations are designed to stop these events from occurring. The study's findings, in summary, indicated that a variety of causes might lead to gaps in prevention, and that, as a result, mitigation is important and beneficial in order to close these gaps. The development of recommendations aimed at GCPS and the solutions put forth by responders are helpful in addressing the issue of the gap.
