As stated in the school's records, the proficiency level of the school in Science subject was marked as failed and did not meet the division school's target. The level of students' engagement and motivation in science also obtained negative feedback. This study employed a descriptivedevelopmental research design. The researcher used PowToon as the software in crafting the instructional materials. Each lesson in the material consisted of the following parts: learning objectives, motivation, lesson proper, activities, and conclusion. The development of the module underwent four phases: planning, designing, validation, and finalization. The Lawshe's content validity formula was used by 10 evaluators in determining the essential learning competencies that were included in the module. Additionally, the prescribed format of DepEd in designing the structure of the instructional material was used. A validation tool was used by 10 experts in validating the content, design/format, technological, and pedagogical aspect of the module. The findings of the study showed that the animation-based instructional material in Science 7 met all the criteria found in each parameter of the validation tool. Overall, the participants gave positive feedback on the material. Hence, the developed and validated animation-based instructional material can be used by Science 7 learners.
