ABSTRACT BACANI LEMUEL L. LOPEZ, RAYMART D. PANGAN, KHENNETH J. May to June 2022. EFFECT OF PROBIOTIC ON COBB BROILER FED DIET SUPPLEMENTED WITH VARYING LEVELS OF GUAVA LEAF MEAL. Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Major in Animal Science, Pampanga State Agricultural University, PSAU, Magalang, Pampanga. Adviser: BERNARDO E. MARTIN, MSA The study about the effect of probiotic on Cobb 500 supplemented with varying levels of guava (Psidium guajava) leaf meal was conducted at Purok Charlie, Brgy. Balutu, Concepcion, Tarlac from May 2, 2022 to June 6, 2022 for a total of 35 days. The birds were acquired thirty-one (31) pesos each at Hatchicks Corporation located at Ricefield Ayala, Magalang, Pampanga. A total of 180 broiler chicks were taken and divided into 6 treatments, each with 3 replications (10 birds/replication) at the age of 10 days after brooding. The birds were offered with 3 different levels of guava leaf meal with 0 grams, 45 grams, and 55 grams respectively. The probiotics (10 ml) was mixed with guava leaf meal at different levels. The result showed that 10 ml of probiotics (MutantLab) had a significant effect on the Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) of the birds with 1.90. Moreover, result also presents that the treatment with 55 grams of powdered guava leaf meal with 10 ml of probiotics per lkg of commercial feeds (Bmeg-Integra) had given the best final weight, gain in weight, and average daily gain.
