This study was conducted in Sitio Pitabacan, San Ildefonso Magalang, Pampanga from May to June. Auri seeds were used in this study. a total of 1,200 seeds was obtained in Pampanga State Agricultural University. The treatments were replicated four times ina Random Complete Block Design. Germinated sprouts were monitored on a daily basis. The treatments were replicated four times in a Random Complete Block Design. Germinated sprouts were monitored in daily basis, The Treatments are; T 1-Control(No pre-treatment), T2Hot water (seeds will be soaked in hot water (100°C) for 30 seconds), T3-Hot and Tap water(seeds will be soaked in hot water (100°C) for 30 seconds and 12hrs in tap water), T4-Nicking(seeds will be cut using with nail cutter), T5 - Nicking and tap water - (seeds will be cut with nail cutter and will be soaked for 12 hours in tap water.), T6Tap water (seeds will be soaked for 12 hours in tap water at room temperature). based on the results of this study of assessing the germination of auri seeds. T2-(Hot water) is the best treatment among all the treatments used in this study based on the calculated mean on the germination parameter. In Germination Percentage, Germination Capacity and Germination Energy T2-(Hot water) obtained the highest mean. in Energy Period T1(Control), T2-(Hot water) and T3-(Hot water and tap water) the same equal means of 14.5.
