<br/><br/>The purpose of this study is to assess the level of knowledge, awareness and perceptions of the residents of Brgy. Sta. Lucia on the ecological services provided by Mt. Arayat Protected Landscape. It is important to know the level of awareness and knowledge of the residents of the MAPL, so that they will develop a sense of appreciation and value for the ecological services it provides.     A total of 234 respondents were interviewed in this survey. The age of the respondents ranges from 17-85 years old. Data were gathered and analyzed through a survey questionnaire that was answered by means of systematic sampling methods of the     households residing at Brgy. Sta. Lucia.     The researcher evaluated how well the respondents understood and perceived MAPL. The respondents overwhelmingly concurred that MAPL is a well-liked tourist attraction in the province. Also, the majority of respondents also claimed that MAPL is     well-maintained, protected, and supported by local populations' livelihoods.     Therefore, after conducting the study, the knowledge, awareness, and perception of the residents of Sta. Lucia on the protected landscape was assessed. It was found out that the regulating, supporting, and cultural services of MAPL were highly recognized by the residents of Santa Lucia, Santa Ana, Pampanga. In conclusion, the residents of Brgy. Sta. Lucia were aware of the status and the benefits provided by MAPL.
