JEZEBEL S. COSME,May 2020. "EFFECT OF INORGANIC FERTILIZER APPLICATION IN THE FIELD PERFORMANCE OF BATINO (Alstonia macropthylla Wallich ex G. Don)"Bachelor of Science in Forestry major in Forest Resource Management. Pampanga State Agricultural University, Magalang, Pampanga. Adviser: DARWIN E. TOTAAN, Ph.D. The study was conducted at the Campus reservation in Pampanga State Agricultural University, Magalang Pampanga, from January 5, 2019 to April 5, 2019 to find out the effect of inorganic fertilizer application in the field performance of batino. A total of 150 seedlings were used in this study. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with five (5) treatments, namely; TiControl; T2Complete; T3Ammonium sulfate; T4Ammonium phosphate; Ts-Urea. The treatments were replicated three times. Ten seedlings were used in each treatment. All the treatment means showed no significant differences. But the height treatment of Batino has possible have significant differences. However, were observed among the treatments means. Treatment I which was untreated shows the best results in the plant height at 30, 60 and 90 days with a mean of 8.75cm,9.90 cm,11.66 cm, respectively. Treatment 4 has the highest means in terms of stem diameter at 30, 60 and 90 days with a mean increments of 0.83mm, 0.95mm and 1.03mm, respectively. This study conclude that application of complete, ammonium phosphate, ammonium sulfate - and urea fertilizer did not show any effect on the batino seedlings height, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of days to produce new leaves and percent survival. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that all the treatments used in this study shows no significant difference. The effects of it might be the total days of applying the treatments or the amount of treatment itself. Like what in Ts which is the Ammonium phosphate shows the best performance in producing the new leaves because the nourishment that the Batino needs in producing leaves came from the T3 Ammonium phosphate but for survival, the best performance is T1 which is complete fertilizer.
